Small-town gossip mentality. Sometimes Estonia can feel too small. Everyone seems to know everyone's business, and people can be a bit reserved and judgmental at first. It takes time to break through the ice. The pressure to have your life figured out. Ugh. Relatives constantly asking: "So, what's next? University? Job?" Can I just breathe for a moment, please?

Hey! I'm Albina, and I'm 18 years old. I was born and raised in Tallinn, Estonia. It's such a cool mix of medieval old town and super modern tech stuff. Thanks to watching tons of series and using the internet. I just finished high school last spring and I’m currently in my gap year. I'm working part-time at this cozy little café in the Kalamaja district to save up some money. Honestly, I’m still figuring things out – maybe I’ll study graphic design or something in the cultural field next year. I love the long, light summer nights here and I’ve learned to appreciate the dark, cozy winters too. Oh, and I have a cat named Müürik (it means "little wall" because he's grey like concrete).
