The exact second rope tension meets exhale - when body softens, mind quiets, and trust becomes visible

Rushed ties. Rope demands patience. If you can’t wait 10 minutes for a knot… you’ll miss the meaning
About me:
Bonjour, I’m Carmelia - 18, studying Sculpture & Embodied Art at École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. Rope is my medium. Shibari isn’t restraint to me - it’s sculpture in motion. Every knot, tension, line tells a story of trust, surrender, and silent dialogue. In the studio, I work with clay & steel. At home? Silk rope & breath. Both require patience, precision… and the courage to be shaped. I believe beauty lives in suspension - in the space between control and release, where vulnerability becomes power, wrapped in hemp and grace. Art school taught me: the most profound works aren’t made - they’re co-created. Care to be part of my next composition? 🌿🪢
