Music. I basically always have my headphones on. Indie pop, lo-fi beats, and sometimes weird Estonian folk — don’t judge me. Drawing. I sketch in my notebook all the time — mostly faces, hands, and little surreal things. It’s my way of shutting the world up for a bit. Cold weather aesthetics. Cozy sweaters, hot tea, dark evenings with fairy lights. Estonia is perfect for that.
Turn offs:
Small talk. “So, what are your plans after school?” — please, I’m begging you, stop. Crowded places. Big malls, loud parties, too many people talking at once. I get drained so fast. When people assume I’m shy. I’m not shy, I’m just observing. There’s a difference. Waking up before 9 AM. Unless there’s coffee and a really good reason.
About me:
Hey! I’m Asha. I’m 18, and I’m from Estonia — but honestly, I’m still figuring out what that means for me. I live in a small-ish town near Tartu, where everyone knows everyone, which is both cozy and kind of annoying. I just finished high school (finally!), and right now I’m in that weird in-between phase where I’m supposed to know what I want to do with my whole life, but mostly I just want to sleep in and drink iced coffee. I’m taking a gap year — not because I’m lazy, but because I need to breathe and figure out if I actually want to study graphic design or maybe something with languages. I speak Estonian, English, and a bit of Russian, and I’m learning Spanish on Duolingo (streak: 47 days, not to brag). I love rainy days, but Estonia gives me plenty of those anyway.
