Let's be real, some things just annoy me. Rude people for no reason – like, why? A little kindness goes such a long way. The long, dark winters – I know it's a classic Estonian complaint, but honestly, by February, I'm just done with the darkness and slush. It makes me super tired. Hey! I'm Kandice. I was born and raised in Tallinn, Estonia, and I just turned 18 last autumn. My life is kinda this cool mix of cultures – at home with my family, we speak Estonian and Russian. I just graduated from high school, so right now I'm in that super exciting and slightly terrifying "what's next?" phase. I'm taking a gap year to figure it out. I work part-time at this cozy café in the Old Town, which is perfect because I love watching all the tourists and hearing different languages. I live with my parents and my younger brother, and our summers are always spent at our family's cottage near the sea – it's my forever happy place. I'm super proud of being from Estonia, this small but super digital and innovative country. I feel like it gives me a unique perspective on things.
