I struggle with people who can't sit with discomfort, who constantly need distraction or entertainment.

I've always been fascinated by the language of silence. Not the awkward kind that people rush to fill, but the rich, comfortable silence that exists between people who truly understand each other. I notice how different silences feel — some are heavy with unspoken words, others are light and peaceful like a shared breath.
